Latest News:

Arkady Pilchin published an in-depth analysis of the state of developments in Tectonic insights of Earth's evolution with his colleague Lev Eppelbaum: "Pilchin, A. and Eppelbaum, L., 2020. "Plate Tectonics and Earth Evolution: A Conceptual Review". ANAS Transactions, Earth Sciences 2, 3-32; DOI: 10.33677/ggianas20200200043."

Arkady Pilchin authored an important review with his colleague Lev Eppelbaum on the concentration and preservation of platinum group elements: "Pilchin, A. and Eppelbaum, L., 2017. "Concentration of Platinum Group Elements during the Early Earth Evolution: A Review". Natural Resources, V. 8, pp. 172-233. doi: 10.4236/nr.2017.83012."

Arkady Pilchin published an in-depth analysis and deconstruction of the plate tectonics theory: "Pilchin, A., 2016. "Critical analysis of the plate tectonics model and causes of horizontal tectonic movements". New Concepts in Global Tectonics Journal, V. 4, No. 2, pp. 204-272."

Arkady Pilchin authored an in-depth analysis of paleomagnetism: "Pilchin, A., 2016. "Is paleomagnetic data reliable?: A critical analysis of paleomagnetism". New Concepts in Global Tectonics Journal, V. 4, No. 1, pp. 37-80."

Arkady Pilchin co-authored the book "Applied Geothermics (Lecture Notes in Earth System Sciences) by Lev Eppelbaum, Izzy Kutasov and Arkady Pilchin, 2014" now available.

Arkady Pilchin completed several scientific researches relating to the formation and evolution of the magma ocean and early Earth atmosphere, sulfur cycles during early Earth evolution, formation of the lithosphere during Hadean - Archean, initial concentration and preservation of platinum group minerals/elements, and initial re-distribution of PGMs/PGEs and formation of thier ore deposits. The results of these researches are partially published in the book: "Encyclopedia of Earth Science Research, v. 1, Sato, F. and Nakamura, Sh. (Eds.), 2012, Chapter 1, The Early Earth Formation and Evolution of the Lithosphere in the Hadean - Middle Archean. Pilchin, A. and Eppelbaum, L., 1-93 p"
