Killed Scientific Articles

It is a matter of course that in science your research may be declined for publication. Not everyone will agree with you, and in my experience sometimes even presenting evidence supporting every aspect of your reasoning and conclusions will not be enough to prevent an editor from dismissing your paper for justifiable reasons; and I have had a number done so. However, the articles I highlight here are ones that were not declined for justifiable reasons and I believe should have been accepted to advance our mutual discourse, but were nonetheless 'killed'.

First of all I would like to say that I have nothing against the journal Earth and Planetary Science Letters, in which I published two of my best scientific articles, and which I believe is the best fit for my research. However, unfortunately both people that killed my papers, Richard W. Carlson and Lars P. Stixrude, happen to be editors at this journal. I can only say that in these three cases the editors have shown a complete disregard for science. Furthermore, in one of these cases the editor Richard W. Carlson revealed in our subsequent correspondence that he was not even familiar with the material in my paper, proving that he had in fact declined it without having read through it.

If I am critical of anything it is of the fact that these individuals in particular are secure in their belief that they have the right to dismiss any papers they want to prevent information they may disagree with from entering our scientific discourse, regardless of how sound it is and how thoroughly it is supported with solid evidence.
